Find your art here! The City of Sherman is brimming with music, art, history, architecture, culinary treats, and other sensory delights for your inner artist. Now, our cultural and community leaders are working to launch the city's new Sherman Cultural District. It will bring added excitement to the heart of Downtown Sherman as the hub for all this creative energy. On this website, you'll find news of our vibrant arts scene, a calendar of events, and a place to hear from artists and organizations leading the way.
Adding to the buzz, the City of Sherman has submitted its application to the Texas Commission on the Arts for consideration of our Sherman Cultural District (SCD) as an official State Cultural District. We have a great story to tell! We can't wait to share more with residents and visitors about the many great opportunities to experience the arts in Sherman. You'll find more here soon.
